One of these beds is not enough…
I bought the bed as a warm and comforting treat for our newly arrived rescue dog but old dog instantly bagged it, so had to get a second bed to satisfy demand. They love the shape and the snuggly cover, so usefully detachable for washing. Very impressive company service too with next day delivery.

We were a little concerned when we read that dogs can be reluctant to change to a new bed. Rosie, our beloved seven year old golden retriever, can be stubborn and certainly took a couple of years before she deigned to sleep on the nice bed we had got for her at the time. She had been very cosy on it ever since, and we were certainly prepared for another battle!! But we replaced this bed with the Baker & Bray bed the day it arrived, putting it in her favourite sleeping spot under the stairs, replacing the previous bed. So good, I bought another!
I bought the s/m size and my small staffie cross actually gave up the sofa and spends most of her time curled up in there. It also fits my King Charles cavalier. The slate grey colour looks smart and the bed is a nice firm structure. I then bought the XL for the kitchen for the staffie cross and cavalier to share and they love it save for they are normally curled up together at one end. Pics are of the XL.

What is the difference between The Ultimate, The Comfort and The Donut?
The Ultimate is the flagship: orthopaedic memory foam, raised sides with a lower front entry, and interchangeable covers. The Comfort brings memory foam luxury at a more accessible price. The Donut is a cosy, calming bed for dogs who prefer to curl up and feel secure.
Which bed is right for my dog?
Watch how they sleep. Stretchers usually suit The Ultimate or The Comfort; curlers often love The Donut. Older dogs and dogs who need support are best suited to The Ultimate’s memory foam and lower front entry. The size finder on The Ultimate page suggests a size by breed or measurement.
How do I choose the right size?
Measure your dog from nose to the base of the tail while lying naturally. If they stretch out or sit between sizes, choose the larger bed. Every product page shows the external size and example breeds for each size.
Will it support an older dog?
The Ultimate’s supportive memory foam helps distribute weight and support joints, and its lower front entry makes it easy to get in and out, which suits older dogs and puppies alike.
How do I wash the covers?
Open the hidden zips, remove the outer covers and machine wash on a cold, delicate cycle at no more than 30°C. Hang dry, or tumble dry carefully on low heat. Only the removable outer covers are washed.
What is the fabric made from?
Soft, durable outer fabric made from recycled ocean-bound plastic bottles, with Global Recycled Standard (GRS) verification. In The Ultimate, the mattress uses repurposed premium-grade memory foam and the bolsters are filled with surplus material from the textile industry.
How many recycled bottles are in The Ultimate?
Around 40 recycled plastic bottles per Ultimate, on average. This figure applies to The Ultimate.
Can I refresh the bed instead of replacing it?
Yes. The Ultimate’s covers unzip and can be swapped for spare interchangeable covers, so you can refresh the look or the fabric and keep the bed.
How quickly will it arrive?
Free UK delivery. For UK mainland orders placed before 3pm (GMT) Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays, we will do our best to deliver on the next working day. Delivery to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands is also free and typically takes 2 to 3 working days. International delivery is charged at checkout.
What if my dog does not use it?
Let your dog try their bed at home for up to 30 nights. If they are not completely comfortable, you can return it for a full refund. All we ask is that you genuinely let your dog try the bed for at least 14 days first.
